These were all taken in a single photoshoot on a Sunday with Brian, we went to the local Guemchon woods and to a memorial for a king on the North-South border.
I put this here because I like the composition of this shot. I need lots more practice though.
This is where I found the 'decontaminating agent'. I have a picture of that too. Actually I have pictures of everything now.
An army bunker, part of an abandonded command post on the top of the hill.
A ubiquitous mound tomb in the hills behind city hall.
These folks were kind enough to let me use them as a subject for a black and white portrait shot. I don't think they were all that impressed, but what can you do!
I took this out of Brian's car window, it came out quite nicely. I know the diviner looks destitute but there's not much money in fortune telling these days.
On the streets of Guemchon. I believe the old man is a diviner of sorts and can tell your fortune.
Some folks enjoying the climb to the peak of one of the hills.
These guys are packing some serious heat, those are quite the souped-up rapid-firing AK's.
Everything is suffused with a soft glow at this time of day.
A traditional house at the memorial with beautiful wooden fittings.
Some army soldiers on patrol at the border.
I must admit I used a bit of a special effect to bring out the colours on this one. It's looking out over a river.
Another special effects shot, with a Sepia shade added. Sheer visual poetry if you don't mind me saying so.
As the sun sets in the West...
...so the moon rises in the East.
